Coast to coast

Most of you know I was born in Calif, Encino to be exact so it has a special place in my heart.
After I grew up ( I'm not entirely sure i did grow up) I moved to Key West Florida. Then I wanted to live in the real world and moved to SE Florida about 2 years ago
I am on vacation in San Francisco, the first day I went to Pier 39. It is a really cool place with lots of shops restaurants and this awesome carousel

If you have ever been to Calif you will know about REAL Sourdough bread. Well I went to the place that makes it. On one side they make the bread and if you look at the top you will see the bread baskets. They are transferring the baked bread to the other side where it is sold...very cool set up
Little tid bit about this bakery.
The Name is Boudin and it was started in 1849. It is located in the Fisherman's wharf . I grew up on the stuff its heaven

outside they sell clam chowder
soup bowls and inside you can have lunch--we did end up eating one, delish!!!
Where did all the flower children go? I have no clue but I do have a guess. All the hippy's have gone on to better places, these were the only two I saw spreading the love
Peace Man!!

You can not have a fisherman's wharf with out fishermen

Transportation
you have the cable cars and the electric cars and even some of the city buses are electric
this is the ride on the cable car

Ride on the City Bus,
you can ride 4 hours for $1.50
remember to get your transfer

Lets not forget the Bart System
Kinda reminds me of the subway in NYC but the train moves on top of the ground and its 100 times cleaner

They even have these bathrooms
I did not have a chance to check this out, but I will before I go home
yick, I started to go in one of these things, but I changed my mind
I could not even stand it long enough to take a picture
Do you notice all the people wearing jackets?
Its chilly and its July!! but perfect weather
