See How I Make Soap

First I weigh all my oils.and butters.. It is very important to have a good scale.

At  the same time I set aside a cup for my scent and a cup for my color
 Line my wooden soap mold

I stir my oils and soapmakers lye until they become thick. At this point I will add the scent and take part of the main batch and add to my color . I stir until this is all  incorporated

At this point I  may have about 5 mins to work, the soap is starting to set up so I have to work fast. I pour my soap into the soap mold do my swirls and then I am done

I cover with a plastic and set my mold cover on top

This Key Lime had just been poured  After 24 hours I unwrap the soap and cut into slices.

I let it cure for at least 4 weeks

Curing makes for a long lasting hard bar.
